If you’re looking for just our food, whether that’s brunch, bbq food, or cocktail party platters, with no on-site staff, we have pre-order pick-up catering menus! If you’re looking for private event catering “off-site” at a private home or rented space, we don’t want to be just another tray of catered food. We’re here to help you dream up an event that will bring your friends, family, and neighbors together to share a flavorful experience. Our focus is on bbq meats, seafood, and vegetables, seasonal salads, and fresh desserts. We love to create a memorable evening for you around fire and flavor. We are also able to help with rentals (glassware, dish ware, linens, tents), and setting tables, to help bring your vision for your special day to life. Information about our Special Events Catering
If you’re looking for something more casual in our own space at Scuttlebutt, we do rent it out for private parties with full food and bar service! We love to host small rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, and parties “just because” in our space! Our maximum number of guests at Scuttlebutt is 32 for a seated meal, and 45 for a standing room party. We do not have a minimum number of people for a private party, but do require you to meet a minimum spend ($2000 for our off-hours, $3000 if we need to close for your party). If your cost per head quote does not meet the minimum, then we ask that you pay the difference to meet it as a rental fee!

WE WOULD LOVE TO BE A PART OF YOUR SPECIAL GATHERING HOSTED AT SCUTTLEBUTT! HERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS SO WE CAN START OFF ON THE SAME PAGE IF YOU REACH OUT!
Our space holds up to 32 people for sit-down private dining, and up to 45 for standing-room private parties. We do have plenty of extra space and seating on our patio which is accessible when you book a private party, but we do not count on that as available when you book since our patio is weather dependent.
We will host gatherings as small as ten people, as long as you meet our event minimum.
If you are booking a private party that is outside of our open hours (W-Su 8AM-2PM* and Fr 8AM-8PM), our minimum cost to book a private event is $2,000. That includes: the event space for 3 hours (not including set up and clean up), three staff (front of house manager, server, and chef), a basic tailored menu (starters, mains, dessert), and basic open bar. That does not include 7% state and local meals tax or our 18% admin fee in lieu of gratuity.
If you are booking a private party that is during our open hours (W-Su 8AM-2PM* and Fr 8AM-8PM), our minimum cost to book a private event is $3,000.
We can customize your menu for any event! We have provided casual barbecue and taco bars, six course meals, and everything in between!
If you are looking for something more casual that does not meet our minimum for on-site catering, we do offer drop-off dinners for a minimum of $300, plus a delivery fee.
We request a $500 non-refundable deposit to book private events at Scuttlebutt.

WE WOULD LOVE TO BE A PART OF YOUR SPECIAL GATHERING AT A SITE OF YOUR CHOOSING! HERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS SO WE CAN START OFF ON THE SAME PAGE IF YOU REACH OUT!
We have a $4000 minimum for fully serviced, in-person events to bring our smoker. Sometimes we are able to accommodate private catering for smaller budgets so shoot us an email with details of your event, and if we can make it work, we’d love to!
Full service includes: chefs and servers on-site for up to 8 hours; table setting, and clean up through the end of food service.
Full service does NOT include: trash and recycling removal, arranging rentals such as dish-ware and linens, set up of tables and chairs. These services incur additional fees.
We request a $1000 deposit to secure your date, and then we will work with you on a payment plan for the remaining amount due.
We do offer full bar catering, for a minimum of 2 hours and up to 5 hours, for an additional cost per head.
If you are looking for something more casual that does not meet our minimum for on-site catering, we do offer drop-off dinners for a minimum of $300, plus a delivery fee.
